So You Want to be a hero
Describe your personality:
Having ridiculously high standards as I do proves a problem. A lot of the time I can't even satisfy my own standards, so it is very difficult for other people to do so. Whilst I can accept that someone has done their best, I always expect a level of work from someone else of which I could achieve myself. Which does make me rather frustrated. More so with myself than anyone else.
I am also a complete perfectionist. I believe that anything less then what I consider to be perfect, is completely unacceptable. Which, yes in a sense is a good thing as it can drive you to do your very best. However, it can deeply hinder you as well. As I have found out on numerous occasions. I expect a lot out of my own abilities, so usually push myself to my limit. I'm basically my own worst enemy and sometimes make myself ill because of it.
I am completely independent. I can get things done and sorted on my own. Not to say I'd rather be alone, which sure sometimes I do, but I feel it's important to not lean on your friends all the time. I'm proud of the fact that I've been able to retain my identity and not fade into the background. I'm not the sort of person who can conform easily, nor do I want to be.
I'm utterly, and completely, self-destructive as well as pessmistic to the core.
Fears/Phobias: Lifts (elevators)
Favourites (colour, food, music, etc.):
Music - The Misfits, Alkaline Trio, Kanjani8, Screeching Weasel, Luna Sea and Rancid.
Food – None.
Colour – Black, red and green.
Films – Battle Royale and Watchmen.
Books – A Clockwork Orange.
Do you want be stamped a girl, guy, or both? A guy would make a nice change.
Name 3 powers you would love to have: Super speed, being able to create and manipulate fire, time travel?
Every hero has a reason why they fight evil, what is yours?: The only real reason with any weight behind it would be a loved one being killed.
THIS OR THAT: (there's room for both in some cases)
Forgiving or Vengeful: Not necessarily vengeful, but I don't forgive and forget. I 'put to one side and remember.'
Determined or Accepting: It really depends on the amount of passion I feel towards something.
Out in the battlefield or on the sidelines: Where ever I am needed most. I'd feel more comfortable out in the battlefield though. Making sure things are getting done.
Pacifest or Tempermental: Tempermental
Quiet or outspoken? Outspoken. But that doesn't mean I shout my opinions at the top of my lungs.
Day person or night person? Night. I get so much more work done at night, and my mind seems to be more active.
Leader, loner, or follower? I don't feel loner is right being with the other two really. You can, by nature, be either a leader or follower but still be a loner also. I'm both a leader and a loner. When in group situations I take the reigns, but I prefer to work alone. Not to say I dislike being around people, but working by oneself I feel is often more efficient. You don't have to worry or look out for anyone else.
Heroes & Villians
Favorite heroes & villians & why? ( doesn't have to be DC ) : Deadpool. Truly a case of personality over looks, maybe? For me he's an all round fantastic character. Also, this may seem odd, but I adore Tony Stark but I could give or take him as Iron Man. I think it's a case of the man behind the mask, who is subsequently hiding behind even more metaphorical masks, is much more interesting.
Least favorites and why?: The Hulk. I've always thought he's pretty damn rubbish.
Who do you relate to the least?: Green Lantern.
How would you defeat the villian?: Strategy, force, prior knowledge, weapons, skill and whatever I have at hand.
Damsel in Distress, Loner, Hero, Anti-hero - which describes you best?: Loner
Anything else you'd like to add?: Nope
